What we're looking for
We’re looking for a senior leader to own and accelerate Marble’s payer strategy across both existing and new markets. This person will drive contracting and credentialing, develop deep partnerships with Medicaid and commercial plans, and unlock favorable treatment from payers (delegation, rate enhancements, etc.) that fuels our national expansion.
This is a highly strategic, hands-on role. You’ll report directly to the executive team and operate independently, navigating ambiguity and managing high-stakes relationships. Over time, if successful, you'll have the opportunity to build a team beneath you.
If you’re wildly successful, Marble will look different in a year because:
- We have payer contracts covering 90%+ of insured lives in 3–5 new states
- We’ve secured rate enhancements, delegated credentialing, or other strategic benefits from key payers
- Top decision-makers at major health plans know and value Marble
- We have a clear, payer-informed quality strategy — and we’re executing on it
Qualifications
7 years of work experience, over which you’ve developed the below traits:
🥼 Healthcare expertise
- You’ve spent time at a high-performing provider organization, innovative payer or in a healthcare practice at a consulting firm
- You’ve led complex partnerships and know how to structure bespoke deals
- You understand the incentives, language, and decision-making structures inside Medicaid and commercial plans
- Bonus: You’ve worked in mental health or with behavioral health networks
🥷🏽 Operationally excellent
- You’re comfortable juggling complex, multi-stakeholder contracting processes across multiple states
- You understand credentialing timelines, state-specific nuances, and how to keep deals moving

- You know how to prioritize markets, plans, and partners to drive impact
