About the role
- As the first member of Marble’s Business Development Team, you would have the chance to drive Marble’s growth into new schools, new regions, and develop the playbook as you do it. You would eventually have the opportunity to build and scale your team to help us accomplish our ambitious growth goals.
- Your goal would be building a pipeline of new schools for Marble to work with, securing our initial contacts at those schools, and making warm introductions to our Deployment Team for Onboarding & Scaling
- You would be expected to perform this role as both an Independent Contributor & Team Lead until the function scales
- You will design this function from scratch with the support of our GTM leader. You will invest in rapid experimentation, synthesize learnings, provide feedback, and work cross functionally to get us from 0 to 1. As we grow you’ll play a meaningful role in scaling the BDR function.
- Role has opportunity for rapid career advancement. You’ve excelled as an individual contributor before this and potentially in management, too. You’re ready to roll up your sleeves and grind it out as an individual contributor to help us scale quickly.

Ideal Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years work experience, more experience welcome
- 3+ years Business Development/Sales/Leadership
- Experience working in Startup or SaaS environment
- Demonstrated history of success and rapid career advancement
- Demonstrated history of success in projects outside of core responsibilities
- Experience with hiring & building a team
